Make effective use of computers, teachers told.
Raghunath Malkapure, MLC, has urged teachers to effectively use computers in the teaching-learning process.
He
was speaking at the inauguration of a training programme on
computer-aided teaching for teachers of rural schools, at the Guru Nanak
Engineering College here on Thursday. The three-day training is being
organised by Indus Foundation, a Bangalore-based NGO, which has promised
to distribute 250 computers to schools in rural areas of the district.
Indumati
Patil of the foundation said the training was the first phase of the
programme. Over 70 engineers of the Infosys Foundation would visit
schools in Bidar.
The programme aims to create computer literacy among 5,000 students in the district.
